Q1 2025 iOS Personal Finance Apps in Hungary: Performance Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in Hungary saw notable trends in personal finance budgeting and planning apps. Here’s a look at how the top five apps performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Splitwise experienced a consistent climb in weekly revenue, reaching around $77 in mid-March. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 250, while active users fluctuated, peaking at approximately 8.5K in early January.

Diákhitel Direkt maintained a steady download rate, starting the quarter with around 234 downloads and ending with a slight decrease to 132. The app did not generate revenue during this period.

Money manager, expense tracker showed a decline in active users from 3.5K to 2.6K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $16 in early January, while downloads showed variability, with a low of 108 in mid-March and a recovery to 176 by the end of March.

Wallet - Daily Budget & Profit saw a significant rise in active users from 6.7K to 9.4K. Revenue demonstrated a notable spike, hitting $432 in the last week of March. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 150 weekly.

Finally, Spendee Budget App & Planner had a fluctuating user base, starting at 1K active users and ending slightly higher at 1.007K. Revenue showed a peak of $203 in the first week of January, with downloads following a similar pattern, beginning at 173 and ending at 133.
